Inspired by its natural surroundings, the interiors and architecture of this residence reflect the site of Lake Folsom, literally and figuratively. Strict, modernist planes and surfaces are softened with texture and tonality, giving deference to the lake, its shoreline and the mountains beyond. Envisioned as a family home, comfort blends seamlessly with refined design and thought-provoking art.
Anchoring the home, the great room is executed in natural split face limestone, natural oak wood and a patinated steel fireplace focal wall.
Louvered screens, used to create mystery between spaces in this open plan home, lend texture to the spacious gallery for the collection of art.
