The second in our pair of Trousdale Residences, this home serves as the art and entertaining pavilion for this family compound. With its precise program for our client, a meticulously studied approach becomes a necessity - detailing is kept to the absolute minimum to keep the focus on the collection of art and the airliner views of the city below.
A dramatic city view beyond becomes the perfect frame for Chris Burden’s “Small Steps Skyscraper” sculpture, which serves as an anchor point on the property.
The dining room and living room bristle with energy, despite the monochromatic palette. Every selection and decision was carefully considered to reduce visual clutter and maintain a precise purity.
