Small spaces require studied proportions and scale to appear larger than reality. The Las Palmas Residence does just that with experiments in light, linearity and a consistency of palette. Repetitive linear glazings let the interior and exterior blend, and create a cinematic shadow play. Texture and contrast provide interest, in the Brutalist-inspired furnishings and the layered use of materials.
